Inside Sales - Furniture Sales Specialist

This position consists of a Base Salary + Commissions! It also provides a competitive Health and Dental benefits with 100% of the premium paid by the company.

We are searching for a full-time, inside sales role called Furniture Sales Specialist based in our Langley location. This position is responsible for engaging with all customers and guiding them with the variety of products and services that are offered in the store. The right candidate would have developed a consultative selling style to determine the customer’s needs to make appropriate recommendations as well as create space layout plans to show the options available for the installation of the product.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales
  • Sell the entire range of Source products through a consultative approach in our vast showroom environment.
  • Assist all customers, whether walk-in, phone -in or via email, determining their needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with our Design Department using customer’s measurements and present a proposed layout of the customer’s space reflecting products based on specific measurements. 
  • Provide product quotes as required.

Administrative Duties
  • Complete all work orders, invoices, quotes and all other necessary paperwork related to each sale.

What you will need: 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Can build rapport with a wide range of customers through open communication.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • 2-3 years of retail experience; office furniture or an industry that requires consultative selling is an asset.
  • Driven to close the sale; can show a proven sales track record and ability to follow up with customers by phone and email.

Shift Schedules: Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 - 5:30 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 5:00.
