About The Role
Source Office Furniture is looking for a hands‑on, people‑first Sales Manager to lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales team while driving strong execution of sales strategy, customer experience, and revenue growth.

This is a player‑coach role focused on building structure, improving sales processes, and supporting the team through consistent coaching, accountability, and data‑driven decision‑making. You’ll work closely with the Director of Sales and Store Manager to strengthen performance, pipeline visibility, and repeatable sales success.

What You’ll Do
Sales Leadership & Team Development


  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate sales team members to consistently deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Foster and reinforce a strong consultative sales culture that supports long-term customer relationships
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales hires in collaboration with the Director of Sales
  • Lead weekly sales meetings, performance discussions, and ongoing coaching conversations
  • Lead by example through active engagement on the showroom floor during peak periods or staffing gaps
 
Sales Performance & Customer Experience


  • Review quotes, pipelines, and sales activity to ensure targets and service standards are met
  • Collaborate with Account Executives on larger or more complex sales opportunities, including client presentations when required
  • Provide backup support to Account Executives as needed
  • Engage directly with customers to support or complete sales during high-volume periods or staff shortages
 
Business Development & Market Awareness


  • Monitor local competitors and market trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Participate in and help plan networking, market awareness, and business development activities
  • Initiate and support new business development opportunities within the local market

Operations, Coordination & Administration


  • Provide in-person leadership and support at assigned locations
  • Ensure showroom merchandising, promotional displays, and pricing are accurate and aligned with company standards
  • Coordinate supplier training and product support initiatives
  • Organize and facilitate weekly sales meetings and training sessions
  • Approve merchandise returns, clearance pricing, vacation schedules, and payroll-related items for the sales team
  • Prepare and deliver regular sales performance and market trend reports to the Director of Sales
 
Qualifications & Experience


  • 5 or more years of management experience in a retail or B2B sales environment
  • Proven people leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take initiative and lead by example in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
 
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
